Day 3

Wow. I guess my prediction was correct. We are growing more savage everyday. Our games get out of hand and Robert was almost killed. We are still looking for the beast and we can't find its living space. Jack is starting to get farther in his disobedience towards me. Plus, Piggy isn't doing anything but whine when I give him a job and all he does is complain. We also found a place that Jack says is a "good fort", but there is no fresh water and it is too dangerous to live in there. There is so much going on in my mind that I am having trouble leading these boys when they don't listen and go off on one of Jack's schemes. But on the other hand, I hit my first pig today. It felt good and gave me some confidence in myself. I have also found a friendship with Simon. He is always helping and is by my side to help at any moment. I hope my dad comes soon.
